The countdown is on to Therapy?

And that’s not all, Lafaro and Castlebar band Pilgrimage will be joining Therapy? on the bill for what promises to be the pinnacle gig in Castlebar this year!

Therapy? formed in 1989 and since then have gone on to record 13 studio albums, including two greatest hits collections. They have also recorded what are considered to be two of the greatest Irish rock albums of all time, Nurse and Troublegum.

Therapy? are an alternative metal band from Northern Ireland. The band was formed in 1989 by guitarist–vocalist Andy Cairns from Ballyclare and drummer-vocalist Fyfe Ewing from Larne. The band initially recorded their first demo with Cairns filling in on bass guitar. To complete the line-up, the band recruited bassist Michael McKeegan.

They decided on the name Therapy? because they thought it was short and easy to remember. In 1994 the band released the ‘Nowhere’ single which picked up lots of radio play and went top 20 in the UK. On the back of it the band release the album Troublegum which went top five in the UK and also charted in various other countries. The album not only contains ‘Screamager’, but ‘Turn’ and ‘Nowhere’.
