Richard O’Donnell the director of the award winning and internationally acclaimed film The Pipe has been trying to get funding for his new project On the Horizon and so he has decided to set up a Fund It campaign.
The aim of the documentary is to delve deep into the politics of the oil and gas industry, seeking answers as to why Justin Keating's 1975 ‘Norwegian style’ terms were dismantled by Ray Burke and Bertie Ahern, and if there is any link between the awarding of exploration licences for political favours in the 1990s. Looking at combined results of past drilling programmes and current activity, the aim is to set out a realistic picture of what is happening, and what's to come for the Irish offshore. There are many ways you can help, you can fund it directly by following this link: http://www.fundit.ie/project/on-the-horizon
