The summer season of guided tours of Castlebar will be held each Saturday in July and August led by Brian Hoban, local historian and Fáilte Ireland approved tour guide.
From July 13 to August 31 the weekly tours will be held as follows: guided historical tour of Castlebar each Saturday in July and August commencing at the 1798 Memorial, The Mall, Castlebar, at 10am. A guided historical tour of the Lough Lannagh loop walk will be held each Saturday in July and August commencing at Lough Lannagh Holiday Village at 2pm.
Brian Hoban also leads tours in Newport each Friday evening in July and August, starting from The Gráinne Uaille Pub at 7pm.
