Dog lovers will descend on the royal theatre Castlebar on Sunday, July 21, for the annual pet show, in aid of Mayo SPCA.
Following the success of the last couple of years, the Royal Theatre will again be transformed into a haven for pet lovers of all kinds. Exhibitors include vets, dog trainers, pet stores, big brand pet foods including Connolly’s Red Mills and Brandy, along with craft stands and tasty treats!
Petworld at Horkans Garden Centre, will be on hand to offer a dog tag engraving service with all proceeds going directly to the Mayo SPCA while Connacht Gold Westport will have a huge range of pet accessories and pets (including their Pet Snake! ).
There will be novelty dog shows, face painting, a pet farm, bouncy castles, and much more going on. The dog show will run throughout the day, with judging taking place in ten categories including, most glamorous female dog, dog with the waggiest tail, best puppy and best three-legged dog . Registration will take place at 12pm and winners from all categories will be entered into the best in show at 4.30pm.
The Connacht Pet Show and Family Fun Day begins at 12pm on Sunday, July 21 at the Royal Theatre Castlebar, and finishes at 5pm. Admission is €3 for adults, kids and dogs go free! All proceeds go to the Mayo SPCA.
