Balla Holy Trinity Church Gathering

Balla No Name Club is hosting a gathering on Sunday, June 9, 2.30pm in the grounds of the Church of Ireland Holy Trinity Church in Balla.

An invitation has been extended to anyone who would like to attend from the local community and further afield.

The No Name Club is hosting this gathering to mark the club’s contribution to the works in the grounds of the Holy Trinity Church. The members took on this project two years ago to reclaim the beautiful acre site from the overgrowth and weeds which had taken up residence.

The afternoon will commence with an ecumenical service and wreath laying ceremony followed by refreshments. Music will be provided by Murphy Sisters, Balla Pipe Band, and the Balla National School Band. Among those who will be in attendance will be representatives from the Church of Ireland and Roman Catholic Church, An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, Minister of State Michael Ring, along with other ministers, councillors, members of Mayo Peace Park Committee and VIPs.
