The Mayo Roscommon Hospice annual Let Love Shine a Light campaign has been launched. Every year, friends and family members who have lost loved ones are asked to sponsor a light on the hospice’s Christmas tree which is placed in the centre of Knock.
These lights shine throughout the entire festive season and can be sponsored at any time over the Christmas period. So when sending Christmas greetings this year to relatives and friends, what better way to show you care than to sponsor a special light that will shine out rays of love to all?
There will also be an ecumenical service in the new year where the names of all those people who have had lights sponsored on their behalf will be entered into a Book of Remembrance.
