The board of management of Ballinrobe Community School has announced the appointment of William Culkeen as the new principal. He will succeed Michael Brett who is retiring after six years in the role.
Mr Culkeen has been a member of the school staff since it opened in 1990. Over the years he has held a number of management positions in the school and he has been deputy principal since 2007.
