A man who was rushing to work on his motorbike was before Ballina District Court this week for driving without reasonable consideration.
Garda John Flanagan observed a bike driving at speed on June 4 2012 at 10.45pm at The Commons, Ballina. The bike was weaving in and out of traffic and was stopped. Chris McHugh, The Old Schoolhouse, Pontoon, Foxford, was issued with a fixed charge notice but this was not paid.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined him €100.
