Two men were before Ballina District Court for being intoxicated in a public place.
On June 3 2012 at 1.05am gardaí were called to Millview Crescent as a row had broken out between two men. Terrence Maughan, 19 Palmerstown Woods, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, and Francie McDonagh, 58 Cluain na Ri, Ballina, were both found by gardaí to be in an intoxicated state in a public place and were arrested.
Maughan a 36-year-old father of six has one previous conviction. McDonagh a 35-year-old father of seven has previous convictions.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined both men €110 each.
