A mother of three was sentenced to 30 days in prison for stealing €185 worth of children’s clothing from Dunnes, Ballina.
Gardaí were called to the store on November 4 2012 at 5.15pm as the manager stopped Ann McDonagh, 27 Castlegrove, Castlebar, after she took clothes from the shop. The items were recovered.
McDonagh has 11 previous convictions, nine of these are for theft.
Judge Mary Devins convicted and fined her €150 and sentenced her to 30 days in prison.
