Spinning classes for non members at Castle Leisure Club will commence on Monday April 15 at 6.30pm and also Wednesday April 17 at 8pm. They are booked in six-week sessions for a fee of €48. They will suit both the beginner to spinning and for people who have tried it before. Spinning burns serious calories (about 450 in 45 minutes ) and offers an awesome aerobic workout that gets your heart beating faster. Pilates
Castle Leisure Club have been running very successful pilates classes for over eight years and the next course starts on Wednesday April 17 with beginners at 6.30pm and improvers at 7.30pm. Friday morning sessions start on Friday April 19 at 9.30am for beginners and may suit parents who have just dropped their children to school.
Each course takes place for a six week session.
Pilates helps to strengthen and tone muscle, improve posture, improve co-ordination, provide flexibility and balance, relieve stress and tension.
Pilates can be practised by people of all ages and at all fitness levels, even those who have done little or no exercise before.
