A public meeting about the Claremorris town centre rejuventaion plan will be held in the Dalton Inn, Claremorris, on Monday March 25 at 7pm.
This meeting is part of a town centre plan being undertaken by Claremorris Chamber of Commerce and Mayo County Council. The purpose of the meeting is to get input from members of the public into what they would like to see happening in the town centre in terms of the retail experience; parking and transport; recreational facilities such as restaurants, accommodation, open spaces, and parks; festivals, events and entertainment for the town; and to discuss other issues that the public feel are important in relation to the town centre.
A development and action plan for the town centre will be prepared which will set out projects reflecting the desires of the public and business community in Claremorris.
It is an opportunity for the public to put forward their future vision for Claremorris town centre.
