An extra service will operate this Friday evening, March 15, from Dublin for people travelling to Westport for the St Patrick’s weekend.
Mayo and Roscommon residents going home for the weekend, as well as tourists in Ireland for St Patrick’s Festival and Gathering events, will benefit from the extension of the 17.10 Heuston to Athlone service onwards to Westport, serving all stations between Athlone and Westport.
Customers travelling to Westport now have the choice of five services today (Friday ) from Dublin – 07.35, 12.45, 14.45, 17.10 and 18.15.
