An Aghamore woman was sent forward for trial to the Circuit Criminal Court on 45 separate theft charges this week. At Castlebar District Court on Tuesday the court heard evidence from Sgt Regina Curley that she served the book of evidence on Caroline Barrett, Raith, Aghamore, Co Mayo, earlier that morning outlining the 45 charges of theft from an individual between December 5 2008 and January 21 2012.
Barrett was remanded on her own bond to appear before the next sitting of Castlebar Circuit Court sitting for criminal business on May 7 2013. Legal aid was granted for her solicitor Mr Thomas Walsh and for one junior counsel.
