For the fifth year running Vichy introduced the nationwide competition in Irish pharmacies and revealed the Vichy Advisor of the Year 2012. Vichy developed this competition with the aim to engage and motivate dermo-advisors, raise the standard of advice and to promote skin health through Irish pharmacies nationwide. The lucky winners were recently announced at the glamorous awards ceremony in the five-star Westin Hotel, Westmoreland Street, hosted by popular TV presenter and renowned beauty journalist Laura Bermingham. Tina Mc Hale from Staunton’s Pharmacy, Castlebar was one of the finalists who attended the awards.
The dermo-advisors in pharmacies across the country play a pivotal role in providing invaluable professional advice on a daily basis and in doing so, improving the quality of life for their customers. Through the competition and the awards ceremony Vichy recognise and celebrate this outstanding effort.
Vichy is present in over 700 pharmacies nationwide. A trained team of skin specialists carry out free, professional skin diagnoses and advise customers on how to look after the health and beauty of their skin. With pharmacies offering such expert services it is no surprise that the pharmacy is top of the list when it comes to choosing skincare. One hundred pharmacy advisors were nominated to take part in the contest.
