Christmas kicks off in Milltown on Saturday December 13 at 2.30pm, when Santa opens his door at the traditional herd’s cottage, to 7pm. All profits from Santa’s Cottage will be donated to the children’s charity Make – A – Wish, who grant wishes to children aged three to 18 living with a life-threatening illness.
The cottage will also be open from 2.30pm to 7pm on Sunday December 14, Saturday December 20 and Sunday December 21.
Santa’s Cottage will include all the usual features such as miniature illuminated village, disco and winter barbecue. A new addition this year is a marquee queuing area. Please support Santa’s Cottage and make a dream come true for sick children. This is a 100 per cent voluntary project .Admission for children is €10, which includes a gift from Santa and entrance to disco.
