Castlebar Pantomime will be presenting Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, today and tomorrow at 7.45pm, with 2.45pm matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
Where would Snow White be without the Seven Dwarfs? These are Doc played by the thoughtful Saul Sherrard, the aptly named Happy played by Oisin Coen, Sleepy played by Zoe McHale, Sneezy played by Deirdre Martin, although he is far from it, Grumpy is played by Ethan Murtagh, Bashful is played by Katie Padden already a panto veteran at such a young age, and last but not least a very unexpected, taller, person as Dopey. Who could he be?
The dwarfs are either members of the Castlebar Pantomime Junior Chorus or members of Donna Ruanes Acting for Fun drama workshops. Everyone in the cast wishes them well in their roles and is very proud of the work they have put into rehearsals.
With guest appearances from Watch This Space dance group, Balla Secondary School traditional dancers Dance Trance, and All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil under 12 traditional music group Rolling Waves, tickets cost €16/€13 and are available from Ticketmaster online and outlets nationwide or from the Royal Theatre Box office on 0818 300 000 or 094 902 3111.
