Objections to Royal Theatre dance licence

There were two objections to the renewal of the Royal Theatre’s dance licence at Castlebar District Court on Wednesday.

Solicitor for the Royal Theatre said that he was not aware of any objections prior to court.

Seamus Sutcliffe, who represented the Harlequin Centre Management Co Ltd, was one objector. A second objector, Mattie Neary, was represented by a solicitor in court.

Judge Denis McLoughlin said the licence holder needs notice in advance of such objections and said that both objectors need to put the grounds of their objections in writing. The matter was adjourned to February 6 for hearing
