In 2012 Connacht Gold was awarded the highest accolade of three stars for its Softer Butter at the prestigious UK and Ireland Great Taste Awards.
Repeating the success of the last two years which saw Connacht Gold butter achieve gold star status, the Connacht Gold Softer Butter was singled out among the top one per cent of products to achieve the coveted three star award in this year’s competition.
Dermot Gannon said of the achievement: “Everyone here at the Achonry plant and all at Connacht Gold are very proud of this accolade. It is fantastic to get such recognition for our Softer Butter in a competition which has become known as the Oscars of the food world.”
