The bands in the Crimlin Community Arts music collective will launch their first CD Abroad in Crimlin on Saturday December 13 at 8.30pm in the Castlebar Celtic Clubhouse. The CD will be launched by TV and radio personality Paraic Breathnach, founding member of Macnas, a community arts advocate more popularly known for his role as Jacksie in Killinaskully.
The 13 tracks on the CD are an eclectic mix of various musical styles, featuring a wonderful fusion of traditional Irish music, folk ballads, heavy rock and the samba rhythms of Brazil.
A great night of music is planned with performances by the bands and special guests. The CD will be on sale at a special price of €10. A wonderful evening of entertainment is promised for all the family.
