A Bonniconlon farmer who died from injuries received when his quad bike overturned on his farm last Monday was laid to rest yesterday (Thursday ).
Garrett Howley, Carracrum, Bonniconlon, Ballina, was in his sixties and a highly regarded member of the local community.
The father of four was a talented musician who is survived by his wife Peggy, three daughters and one son.
His remains reposed at his residence on Tuesday evening with removal to the Church of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Bonniconlon, on Thursday morning. Burial took place afterwards at Bonniconlon cemetery.
