Claremorris-based DeCare Dental Insurance is continuing to expand its business with the launch of its dental insurance service in Northern Ireland. But while DeCare may be a new name in Northern Ireland, it is not a new name in the dental insurance industry. DeCare already provides dental insurance services to over 45,000 members throughout Ireland and has been established here for over 10 years. DeCare employs over 90 people in Claremorris and a further 150 in Dublin and Cork in its dental insurance and software development companies. Worldwide, the DeCare Dental family of brands collectively support over 10 million members and employee groups and are a subsidiary of WellPoint, the largest health benefits provider in the U.S.
DeCare made the headlines in June of this year when, together with VHI Healthcare, it relaunched its Irish dental insurance service under the name dentalcover.ie Providing product information and great oral health advice, the dentalcover.ie website has attracted over 90,000 visitors since its launch.
Now the company continues its expansion with the launch of DeCare Dental in Northern Ireland. DeCare is commited to providing the same high level of service and customer care to Northern Ireland customers as it does for DentalCover.ie members. DeCare’s general manager Maureen Walsh comments, “We are very excited to be introducing our products and services to both individual and corporate customers in Northern Ireland.
