December’s Mayo Open Coffee Club meeting will take place on Wednesday, December 5, in the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC ) at GMIT Castlebar at 9.30am and there will be a distinctly Christmas feel to the event.
Next month the topic of conversation will be “Sources of Funding and Supports for Start Ups and SMEs” where a panel of experts from South West Mayo Development Company (SWMDC ), Mayo County Enterprise Board (CEB ), Enterprise Ireland, and the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC ) will be there to answer questions from the audience.
Hosts the IiBC will lay on some mince pies to add a seasonal flavour, and Belmullet-based event photographer Proinsias Mac an Tuile from Tullylens (www.tullylens.com ) will go along to take festive shots of the attendance.
MOCC is a business network run by business people for business people. The event is free of charge. All meetings last between one hour and 90 minutes. All you have to do is turn up on the day. More details on the Mayo Open Coffee Club are available on mayo-open-coffee-club.org/, or you can email either of the organisers: Judith Feehan ([email protected] ) and Maria Staunton ([email protected] ).
Budding entrepreneurs, start-up business owners, and established businesses all find the Open Coffee Club a great way to network and keep in touch with what is happening in the business world around Mayo.
