The Skreen/Dromard set dancing group organises a Christmas céili each year at the local community centre which is situated on the main Ballina to Sligo road opposite the Fiddlers Elbow. This year they have organised their annual ceili for Saturday, December 8 at the earlier time of 9pm. Music on the night is provided by the Copperplate Céilí Band. The proceeds of this céilí go to provide much needed funds for the upkeep of the community centre which facilitates programmes for all age groups from playschool to senior citizens. The kitchen staff will be on hand to serve tea and home-made bakes to all who attend. Admission is €10 so why not come along as a good night is assured for all who attend.
