Ballina’s Riverside Theatre Company returns to the Ballina Arts Centre stage with an innovative production of Sharon’s Grave this weekend from today, November 30, to Sunday, November 8, at 8pm each evening in the Ballina Arts Centre.
Sharon’s Grave is at its simplest a love story - revolving around Trassie and her ‘touched’ brother Neelus and Peadar, (the thatcher who comes to patch up their lives in a number of ways ). The play also focuses on Dinzie, a cripple whose mind is every bit as broken as his body, but Dinzie’s scheming and bullying has not reckoned on Peadar’s arrival.
Directed by Ray Collins and featuring a talented and experienced cast, this promises to be a great night of drama from one of Ireland’s best loved playwrights. The performance starts at 8pm and tickets are €12 and €10 (concession rate ). Booking is essential.
