Children from the Quay School in Westport recently took part in the annual Christmas Shoebox Appeal organised by Team Hope (teamhope.ie ).
This year almost 200 shoeboxes were collected and prepared by children in the school. The Quay School has been involved with this project for the last 10 years and about 2,000 shoeboxes have now been collected and distributed to children in poorer countries. Thanks to all of the parents and children who have supported this project over the last number of years.
