Claremorris will be turning on its Christmas lights today (Friday 23 ) at 5.30pm in The Square by Santa Claus and his ‘little helper’ AKA DJ Michael Burke.
This will coincide with the Christmas Craft Fair that will take place on Friday and Saturday in the Marquee Village set up also in The Square where more than 20 artisan vendors will be in place selling crafts. A tea tent will also be available. Also, Claremorris Chamber will be launching its Claremorris Cash for Christmas Promotion, which will be giving away thousands of euro to be spent in local shops and businesses.
