McDonald’s to create jobs in Ballina

Fast food chain McDonald's is to create 700 new jobs in Ireland over the next three years in a €20 million investment. Ballina has been selected as one location for one of 12 new restaurants to be opened throughout the country.

McDonald's, which has been in Ireland for 35 years, already employ more than 4,000 people here.

Recruitment for the new positions will begin in January.
