How can businesses adapt to maximise the opportunity that their online presence will make? Louise McDonnell from 2Market will give an insight into “How Businesses can enhance an Online Presence” at the next Mayo Open Coffee Club (MOCC ) meeting due to take place next Wednesday, November 7, at 9.30am in the Innovation in Business Centre (IiBC ) at GMIT Castlebar.
2Market is a marketing company, based in Enniscrone, which offers a full suite of traditional and digital marketing solutions. The ability to offer website design, content marketing, SEO combined with other online and offline marketing tools is what sets 2Market apart from their competition. According to McDonnell, "Most people are aware that the digital age is well and truly upon us. The Golden Pages have been replaced by Google, social networking is now the norm, and there has been an explosion in the growth of smart phones and tablets in the last 12 months." RedC puts smartphone ownership at 49 per cent of Irish households last year – and predicts it will rise to 71 per cent by the end of 2012.
Meanwhile Google-commissioned research has found that a third of Irish smartphone owners have made purchases via their phones, while four in five have used their phones to research purchasing decisions. MOCC is a business network run by business people for businesspeople. The event is free of charge. All meetings last between one hour and 90 minutes. All you have to do is turn up on the day.
