A Halloween special kiddies’ disco will be held in the Broadhaven Bay Hotel on Friday October 26 from 7pm to 9pm. Children from 5 to 12 years welcome. Fancy dress optional. Tickets are priced at €5 per child or a special rate of €10 for 3 children. All funds raised in support and aid of Belmullet Gala Arts Festival.
Console suicide bereavement counselling service
Console is a nationwide charity providing a wide range of suicide prevention and postvention service. Console now provides a free/donation-based suicide bereavement service on Mondays in the Ballina Family Resource Centre. Anyone affected or bereaved by suicide, can access the service by contacting Console on 01 610 2638, email info@console.ie, www.console.ie, or the Ballina Family Resource Centre on 096 75573. Console also provides a national helpline called 1Life (1800 247 100 ) for people in suicidal crisis.
