Thanks to all the people who were involved with the Mayo AC/ Kitui 5k Road Race held in Claremorris on Saturday September 22. The race was a wonderful success and €760 will be added to the Kitui Rescue Centre Fund operated by Kitui Development Centre, Kitui, where Janet Corbin Hinchion, a native of Claremorris, voluntarily works as co-ordinator of the centre.
The money received will be used to provide food for the children and also to buy school supplies. Janet Corbin Hinchin wishes to thank everybody who contributed and gave of their services in organising and participating in the event.
