A beautiful calendar which supports the work of Pieta House and contains striking images of Mayo will be launched on October 15 by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny in the Welcome Inn Hotel, Castlebar at 7pm.
With plans for The Gathering 2013 gaining momentum, this calendar is an excellent opportunity to showcase the unique natural beauty and attractions of our wonderful county.
All proceeds from the sale of the calendar will go to Pieta House, suicide and self-harm crisis centre. Pieta House provides its services free of charge and since its establishment in 2006, has already helped more than 8,000 people.
On the night, Joan Freeman, CEO and founder of Pieta House, will outline the friendly one to one services available to individuals and families, in a totally confidential and non-judgmental manner.
The calendar would be an ideal gift for families, friends, and Mayo Diaspora worldwide.
