Legendary Kilkenny grungers Kerbdog have just announced an exclusive show—Night of the Living Freaks—Halloween Fancy Dress Ball, Mayo’s largest Halloween fancy dress party at The Ruby Room in the TF Royal Theatre, Castlebar.
Originally named Rollercoaster, Kerbdog are an alternative rock band from Kilkenny who formed in 1991, by Cormac Battle (vocals/guitar ), Colin Fennelly (bass guitar ), and Darragh Butler (drums ) while attending Kieran's College secondary level school. Billy Dalton joined the band in early 1992 as a second guitarist and his fondness for heavy metal acts Metallica and Slayer complemented Battle's fascination with the British and New York underground. The group changed their name to Kerbdog in honour of a Californian BMX team that they were "obsessed with".
Following two albums released on Mercury Records, the band split up in 1998. Since 2005 the band have reformed for a series of occasional one-off performances in Ireland and England. Music magazines such as Kerrang! and Metal Hammer praised both of Kerbdog's albums and featured them frequently.
The band have been a support act Therapy? and their single “Dummy Crusher” charted in the Top 40 of the UK singles chart.

Get your thinking caps on as there will be loads of prizes for best dressed costume including the legendary Michael Jackson “Thriller” dance-off where members of the audience will be asked to re-enact the dance scene from the excellent “Thriller” video.
