Guinness Live in Galway’s Latin Quarter

Fifty live performances over four nights in eleven venues

The Latin Quarter Galway this week announced programme details of the Guinness Live music festival which will take place from Thursday September 27 until Sunday September 30.

Now in its second year, Guinness Live in The Latin Quarter will be a four day music festival which will feature an extensive line-up of national and local acts (and more ) in a series of intimate gigs in venues and pubs throughout the city’s Latin Quarter, with more than 50 live performances over four nights. Admission to all gigs will be free and on a first-come, first-served, basis. All events are over 18s.

Guinness Live begins on Arthur’s Day and promises a great weekend for Galway with some of the finest original talent in Ireland ranging from high profile and established acts such as Delorentos, The Undertones, The Minutes, Aslan, and Tucan, to some of the most exciting new sounds around including The Strypes, Walking on Cars, Toy Soldier, and Galway heroes Rhythm Scheme.

The event will also feature reggae supremo Natty Wailer and The Reggae Vibes as well as many of Galway’s finest bands playing a wide range of popular, rock, and traditional music. DJs performing at the festival include Today FM’s KC (Keith Cunningham ) and honorary Irishman for the day, Bez of Happy Mondays fame.
