The third annual Claremorris/Kitui, Kenya 5K run/walk takes place on Saturday September 22, starting at 11am. Registration from 10am at Claremorris Athletic Track.
The run is in aid of Kitui Rescue, Therapy and Personal Development Centre which caters for children withdrawn from the worst forms of child labour.
The event is supported by Mayo AC, Claremorris Athletic Club and is co-ordinated by local lady Janet Corbin Hinchion who works voluntarily with Kitui Development Centre.
Entry fee: adults €10, families €20, students €5 and donations will be very welcome.
