Licensing applications before Castlebar District Court in relation to the TF Royal Hotel and Theatre, which went into receivership in May, were adjourned by Judge Mary Devins pending a High Court Commercial Court decision.
An application for an ad interim transfer of the licence from Pat Jennings, who is nominee of Diorama Ltd, of which he is also a director, to the receiver; an application to appoint a new nominee; and also applications for special exemptions were all adjourned.
Judge Devins said that as proceedings are before the Commercial Court in relation to the validity of the appointment of the receiver she could not possibly make any decision in the District Court. Judge Devins adjourned the matters to October 3 for mention.
