Smash hit comedy treat Ted and Co is coming to Mayo this September, promising to wow audiences with high-energy improvisation, audience participation, and perfect comic timing. A tribute to cult TV classic Father Ted, the interactive comedy experience Ted and Co – The Dinner Show’ debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011, selling out every show and picking up five star reviews. Now the priests are heading east again from Craggy Island to serve up comedy treats at the Mayfly Hotel in Foxford on Friday, September 14 and Saturday, September 15. The show costs €39 per ticket which includes a three course meal and a two hour interactive comedy show. For booking call 094 9256518.
The Dinner Show brings the audience face to face with the famous trio of priests and their maniacal devoted housekeeper. While enjoying a delicious three course meal, diners will experience first-hand the comical mishaps, mayhem, and misadventures that seem to follow the foursome wherever they go. Prepare to be entertained by the much loved and extravagant Ted Crilly who has a habit of getting into awkward situations, the young and dim-witted Dougal McGuire, and the alcoholic swear machine Jack Hackett - famously drunk since 1936. Mrs Doyle, the housekeeper, is never far away with her precious teapot and sees it as her sole purpose in life to supply the priests and audience with copious amounts of tea.
