Castlebar pantomime committee invites anyone aged from eight to 18 years who is not in an exam class, to attend its junior chorus auditions for its January 2013 production. Due to time constraints, Castlebar pantomime cannot audition anyone who has not registered between 10.30am and 11am or accommodate anyone who has to leave early prior to their audition time being called.
Auditions will commence at 11am on Saturday September 8 at the GAA Sports Complex, McHale Road, Castlebar. All participants must bring a stamped addressed envelope in order for results to be forwarded and are requested to arrive by 10.15am for registration along with a €2 registration fee. For safety reasons, only those actually participating along with their parents/guardians will be allowed to enter the hall.
The pantomime committee wish to stress that for safety reasons, no child is permitted to leave the GAA Sports Complex premises during these auditions and all must be collected from the hall by parents/guardians. Any child who does decide to leave the hall will not be readmitted and his/her parents/guardians will be contacted to collect them. The committee also suggest that each participant should bring soft drinks/water and light snacks for the duration of the auditions. Rehearsals for successful participants will begin from 8pm to 10pm Monday September 24 and will continue each Monday and Wednesday night (excluding Bank/Christmas holidays ) until the pantomime is presented at the TF Royal Theatre in January 2013.
Adult auditions for principal roles and those interested in joining pantomime senior chorus will be held in the GAA Sports Complex, McHale Road, Castlebar, from 8pm on Monday September 10, Wednesday 12, Monday 17, and Wednesday 19.
