The Achill Calendar Competition, now in its fifth year, is open to all amateur digital photographers.
Prizes will be awarded for first: €400 cash; second: €200 voucher for photography equipment at a specialist retail outlet; and third: €100 voucher for photography equipment. An additional non-cash prize will also be awarded to the top entry received from participants under 18 years (turning 18 on or after November 1 2012 ); small non-cash prizes for runners up; a special prize will also be awarded for the top school’s group entry.
The best 13 photographs will be printed in the 2014 edition of the Achill Calendar.
Closing date for entry is December 14 2012.

All proceeds from sales of the calendar annually go directly to St Colman’s Care Centre, Keel.
