Three decades after his untimely death at 36 years of age Bob Marley’s music still influences millions of people across the globe. His greatest-hits album Legend has sold more than ten million copies and has remained in the charts since its release in 1984. And tomorrow night, Saturday, September 1, in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar you can relive all those classic songs with the Marley Legend show. Marley Legend is a show which celebrates this extraordinary man’s life. From the early days with Peter Tosh & Bunny Wailer calling on us to “Simmer Down” and then to “Get Up, Stand Up”, to his breakthrough as international superstar asking us “Could you be Loved”, Bob's music has moved people in every sense of the word in every corner of the world ever since. The members of Catcha Fire have been playing Bob's music the best part of two decades and their obvious love and respect for the music of Bob Marley and The Wailers comes across in every performance and choice of songs. Enjoy all of Marley's best known songs like “Jamming” “I shot the Sheriff, “Buffalo Soldier”, “Stir It Up” and “Get Up-Stand Up”. Doors open at 10.45pm and the show starts 11pm sharp. Admission is €10 on the door.
