SafeTALK is a three hour training programme that prepares anyone over the age of 18 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources. People who complete the training will be better able to move beyond common tendencies to miss, dismiss or avoid suicide.
Mayo North East in collaboration with the National Office for Suicide Prevention will deliver SafeTALK training in the Gateway Hotel, Swinford on September 26 at 6pm.
