Donkey Sanctuary Ireland will be hosting a donkey day at The Museum of Country Life Museum, Turlough, Castlebar, on Saturday August 18.
An information stand will be packed full of donkey facts and related items as well as plenty of information, leaflets, and guidance for donkey owners.
Demonstrations of harnessing, grooming, and feet trimming will take place throughout the day and members of the welfare team will be on hand to offer advice and answer any questions you may have. In addition, there will be plenty of fun and games for children.
Entry to both the museum and donkey day are free.
