Four Seasons Montessori pre-school is a newly built Montessori school that opened in September 2009 in Ballyheane, only 10 minutes from Castlebar.
The Montessori can cater for nine children from three to five years. The small numbers ensure that all children receive the attention and time they deserve from the Montessori teacher. It is a modern Montessori with a large green outdoor play area (with slides, ride ons, sand area, and much more ).
The school provides an exciting, creative, learning environment and activities include preparation for reading and writing, baking, gardening, sport, art, and much more. The service operates five mornings per week and is registered to provide free pre-school places during school term.
The Montessori school has completed a national certification (quality ) process with the St Nicholas Montessori Training College in Dublin.
