Horkan’s has announced that the Blarney Group – which operates Meadows & Byrne, Blarney Woollen Mills, and Farrell & Brown – will open a new 3,500sq ft retail space at Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre in Turlough, Castlebar, on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Meadows & Byrne and Blarney Woollen Mills will offer a wide selection of lifestyle products for the home and kitchen, as well as traditional gifts and household items. Farrell & Brown is a dynamic fashion label aimed at younger shoppers, who are looking for quality, stylish, and affordable clothing.
Horkan’s Lifestyle and Garden Centre already includes the five-star national award-winning garden centre, Edinburgh Woollen Mills, The Bay Leaf restaurant, and Petworld. The addition of Meadows & Byrne and the Blarney Group will enhance the overall shopping experience at Horkan’s and make it the ideal family day out for people in the west of Ireland.
This new development will also result in the creation of several new positions, with Meadows & Byrne now actively recruiting for a store manager, as well as several full and part-time staff through jobs.ie
Horkan’s is located in the Turlough on the outskirts of Castlebar, and is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6pm and Sundays from 12 noon to 6pm. Special offers will be available during the August Bank Holiday opening weekend.
