Adebisi Shank will be showcasing new tracks from their yet untilted new album and this gig is part of there New Tunes mini Irish tour. Adebisi Shank are an electric, energetic, loud band from Wexford. Taking their cue from acts such as Battles, Oxes and Lite, their debut LP This is the album of a band called Adebisi Shank shines through with rays of inventiveness that would teach a few of their contemporaries a thing or two in the art of writing, without ever leaning into the self indulgent persuasions many have fallen ill to when attempting this sort of 'art noise'.

Creating a record of supreme layers and intricate execution by every means needs a good pair of hands at the helm making sure everything fits into place. And everything fits in perfectly with J Robbins having headed this trio's debut. The record was recorded in June 2008 at the famous Magpie Cage Studios in Baltimore, and mastered at Inner Ear studios by Aloha guitarist, TJ Lipple. Since then the band have recorded and released their second album titled This is the second album by a band called Adebisi Shank to rave reviews.

Support for this show includes Bats. In early 2007 BATS began peddling their love around the island and in December 2007 they releases on independent label Armed Ambitions of their debut EP entitled Cruel Sea Scientist and the frightening of some smaller children. The bands new album The Sleep of Reason will be released this August.

Toby Kaar appeared on a lot of people’s radars in January when he emerged as the undisputed winner from Whelans’ Ones To Watch mini-festival. Deservedly so too, because the now Bath-based Kaar is simply making some of the most exciting music around right now. Toby who played an astonishing set with And So I Watch You From Afar in Castlebar last Christmas is sure to bring the house down!

So make your way to The Ruby Room of The TF Royal Theatre next Saturday night July 28 as Live N Loud Presents Into The West- with Adebisi Shank, Bats and Toby Kaar.
