Big Brother Big Sister youth mentoring programme needs male volunteers in Castlebar and Westport, to come forward for 10 weeks only and become youth mentors and positive role models.
For just one hour per week, between October 2012 and January 2013, volunteers have the opportunity, build confidence and make a positive difference in the life of a young person.
Volunteers don’t need prior experience as training is given. Big Sister is operated in Mayo by Foróige Youth Development Organisation, and is currently providing support to over 300 young people in the county.
