presenting On the Threshold of Recognition, an exhibition of recent drawings by English artist Chris Leach.
This exhibition features miniature and intricate works which are literal renderings of specifically chosen location. Through his paintings he chronicles the passage of time and the daily patterns and seasonal changes of the life of the river. The works are constructed to encourage an intimate response, enticing the viewer towards the surface of the composition as a point of meditation between the image and elements that make up the work.
On the Threshold of Recognition will be officially opened on Thursday, July 5, at 8pm. Admission is free and all are welcome. Runs until Saturday, July 29.
