The Children’s Language Development Preschool offers: Full assessment of your child’s language and functional skills, individualised educational plans (IEP’s ) for all children, specifically tailored to your child’s needs.
Your child’s progress recorded daily and IEP goals updated weekly/daily. Circle time, table top work in small groups, snack, sensory activities, fine and gross motor activities. Parent training nights and courses focusing on general behaviour management, language development, toileting, play skills and more.
They offer ABA places to children diagnosed with Autism/ to those children on the spectrum. Low student, teacher ratios (11:3 in pre-school and 1:1 in the ABA room ).
Highly trained and qualified staff along with a local speech therapist, occupational therapist and behavioural analyst.
About the pre-school programme:
This programme serves children aged between two and six years who have a language delay or disorder. They cater for all children including those with mild language delays to those with more severe language delays as typically observed in children diagnosed with Down Syndrome or Autism.
The play group curriculum is aimed at the development of language, play and social interaction. All programmes are individualised and are based on your child’s particular needs.
About the ABA programme:
This programme serves children aged between three and six who are diagnosed with Autism and require more intense intervention. Behaviour analytic methodologies are used in order to provide your child with the most effective training in language, play and social interaction.. The home tuition grant is available for children enrolled in this programme.
