A 45-year-old father of four was arrested outside his residence after he was found to be in an intoxicated state.
Gardaí were called to a domestic incident at St Patrick’s Estate on October 19 2011.
Kieran Devers, 79 St Patrick’s Estate, Ballina, was observed drunk outside his house.
Gardaí arrested him for being drunk in a public place.
Judge Mary Devins applied the Probation Act.
