Mayo Fine Gael TD John O’Mahony has been informed this week that the Dalton community nursing home in Claremorris has received approval for the next three years by the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA ).
“This is good news which secures the long-term future of the Dalton Home and follows on from the appointment of the director of nursing last year,” said Dep O Mahony.
“I want to pay tribute to all of the staff and management of the Dalton Home on the high standard and excellent care it has given to its residents over the years, this announcement now confirms that this service will continue into the future.”
